Converse County School District #1 has a new local scholarship opportunity called the KINDNESS Scholarship and it's completely different than any other scholarship.
Students are nominated for this scholarship by community members, teachers, administrators, mentors and/or peers. The scholarship committee that established this scholarship is trying to encourage and reward kindness.
The scholarship is established to help encourage the next generation to spread KINDNESS...To live their lives with a positive outlook, a sense of community and a desire to give to others.
Nomination forms are available on the CCSD#1 website. Letters of reference and affirmation should be written excluding the nominee's name – please use HE/SHE in place of the person’s name. The selection committee will receive the letters in an anonymous fashion. Letters must be received by the DHS counseling office no later than April 1, 2018.
