Lots of
changes here at Douglas Broadcasting... and you
may still be searching for your Favorite Station.
Let's see if we can help.
The Country Station, KKTY-FM has
moved a couple of notches up the dial to 100.1
FM. Dennis Switzer's Morning Show, and all of the
other great Country Music, News, Weather and
Sports programming that's been on 99.3 FM for
more than 15 years... it's all on 100.1 FM. We
did this because the 99.3 FM signal is about 3
thousand watts... the 100.1 FM signal is 100
thousand watts. The new 100.1 signal reaches from
just north of Cheyenne to Torrington, East past
Lusk and into the Nebraska Panhandle, North to
Newcastle to Wright, West past Casper to
Alcova... we're talking to a lot more of Wyoming!
So what happened to 99.3?
That's our new station... KKTS-FM is 99 Cats FM,
playing a format that's called Hot Adult
Contemporary Hits... it's great music from the
90's through the current pop charts, chosen to
appeal to kids and adults. This is also where
you'll continue to hear Douglas Bearcats football
and Bearcats and LadyCats Basketball.
Aaaand... KKTY AM 1470
keeps on crankin' out the Classic Hits of the
'70's, with a great mix of late 60's and early
80's music to keep it interesting. Colorado
Rockies Baseball, Denver Broncos Football... all
here on AM 1470. And in Douglas, it sounds
even better on 93.3FM.
So, here's the lineup..
KKTY-FM - 100.1 FM
- The Country Station
KKTS-FM - 99.3 FM -
99 Cats Hits
KKTY 1470 AM and
93.3 FM - Classic Hits KKTY
