2024 Converse County Primary Election Results
In House District 6, which includes Douglas and part of Converse County, by a 116 vote margin, incumbent Tomi Strock maintains her seat in Cheyenne, beating challenger & former district 6 representative Aaron Clausen, 1278 to 1162.
Locally, the big race was for two seats on the Converse County Commission.
Five candidates ran, all as Republicans,
Don Blackburn got the top talley with 1983 votes, and Rick Grant keeps his seat on the Commission with 1218 votes.
Tony Lehner got 1094, Joe Benedetta recieved 1024, and Darek Joppru received 824 votes.
Blackburn & Grant will advance to November's General Election, where they'll run unopposed.
