Your friends at First Southern Baptist Church in Douglas invite you to drive by or stop and enjoy the third annual Living Nativity. Join them for cookies and hot chocolate at the corner of 4th and Richards Thursday and Friday, December 22nd and 23rd from 6 til 8pm.

The Black Mountain Archery Club in Wheatland offeres free Christmas Tree removal. They're collecting your old trees and will use them for landscaping for an indoor archery shoot on January 7th. For pickup, call Amy in Wheatland at 760-5014.

Levi's Loft invites you to join them for a substance-free New Years Eve Party. Saturday, December 31st starting at 7pm in the Upper Ag Hall at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas.. The Cottonwood Garden Club invites you to join them for a more Beautiful Douglas. The Cottonwood Garden Club plants and maintains flowers areoound the community, including at City Hall and the Gazebo at the golf course, holds garden tours and has educational speakers at meetings. The Cottonwood Garden Club meets at 12 noon on the third Thursday of each month at First United Methodist Church, 5th & Oak in Douglas. You're invited to attend!

The Converse County Coalition Against Violence is looking for volunteers. You can help by being a volunteer advocate, work in the office, court watch, be a shelter mentor or help with fundraising. Training is free. For more information, call the Coalition office at 358-6148.
