The Dry Creek Community Hall Association is sponsoring an 88th birthday pie auction. Come join us this Saturday, September 20 at 6:30pm at the Community Hall in Bill, Wyoming. Your contributions will help us build an addition with indoor restrooms and more meeting space, and you'll get to enjoy some of the best desserts you've ever tasted.


The DHS Boy and Girls Soccer team is putting on a Youth Soccer Camp Monday and Tuesday, September 22nd and 23rd for ages 4-12. The camp is at the Douglas Middle School and will run from 5:30 to 7:30 for ages 7-12 and 5:30-7:00 for ages 4-6. The camp is $35.00 for ages 4-6 and $40.00 for ages 7-12. Pick up your forms from Anita Carpenter at Douglas Intermediate School or call Kim Hight at 358-1613.


The University of Wyoming Extension and Farm Credit Services of America will be offering an Annie's Project class series in October. The first class will be on October 7 from 9:00 am til noon, followed by a luncheon at the Converse County Extension Office in Douglas. Classes will also be held on October 14, 21, and 28, same time and place. Topics to be covered include range improvements, unit cost of production, conservation easements, and pipeline contracts. All ladies with an interest in these topics are invited to attend. For more information please call Ashley at 358-2417.


The Converse County Coalition Against Violence is looking for volunteers. You can help by being a volunteer advocate, work in the office, court watch, be a shelter mentor or help with fundraising. Training is free. For more information, call the Coalition office at 358-6148.
